 Description  « Hide
After installing the latest Catalyst drivers to v9.10, the SL client crashes after it has detected the hardware.
The previous Catalyst version did allow the client to run but caused the viewer to crash after 5-10 minutes with my pc crashing shortly afterward.

I've disabled the Catalyst AI and turned off Crossfire mode in the Catalyst panel with both versions and it hasn't resolved the issue.
I've also tried to include a crash report but the SL Client won't generate one when it crashes.

Knives, please check the latest ATI Catalyst has installed correctly. Contact your computer or Graphics Card manufacturer for their recommendations for a 3rd party Driver Cleaner.

Run the Cleaner then download a new copy of the latest ATI Graphics card drivers.

Completely uninstall all Second Life Viewers, saving any chat logs, if you wish. How do I fully uninstall and reinstall Second Life?

Please make sure the Second Life Cache, User Settings and content of any Temporary folders are also deleted. Reboot your computer.

Then download the latest Viewer Second Life Version Number: 1.23.5.136262 from here Second LifeĀ® Installer, save the programme to your Desktop and install, using the recommended graphics settings.

Log into Second Life and let your Inventory fully load.

If you still have an issue with logging into the Viewer, please Submit a Ticket with Support for a response tailored to your individual situation, see JIRA Home page
