Running Second Life viewer increases my CPU usage to 100%. Please help?

Here are my specs:
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.20 GHz
2GB Ram
34-bit OS
Windows 7 Professional

CPU: AMD (Unknown model) (2210 MHz)
Memory: 2047 MB
OS Version: Professional (Build 7600)

Peggy, please try the suggestions posted here Second Life running at 100% CPU Usage. Particularly the ones in this Knowledge Base article How can I improve performance ?

If it is both cores running at 100% usage, please add your comments and vote on VWR-5574

Close the Viewer and before you restart Second Life, please attach your latest SecondLife log and CrashReport to this issue. This Knowledge Base article will tell you Where do I find my Second Life diagnostic logs?
