I've been playing on this same computer for several years - only in the past several weeks has the issue arisen. I have checked over my computer and confirmed there have been no other changes or updates during that time, and it has coincided around the time of the previous release of the official second life viewer, so I believe bears consideration. I do realize that Linden Labs are vastly overworked and flooded with requests of "glitches", but this is severe to the point that I cannot continue to play SL in this state. If it persists, I'm going to have to depart SL, being unable to make any more purchases or buy Linden dollars.
