 Description  « Hide
I've had this issue several times before, but each was temporary, in that it only lasted several minutes. This time, it has not gone away - despite rebaking textures, updating the SL client, uninstalling and reinstalling SL and deleting all associated files, clearing the catch - a minute after the avatar stabilizes, it instantly blurs and then returns. I've read through all avatar issues that are somewhat similiar, and attempted the suggestions with no luck. This has become enough of a problem for me that I'm considering making a second alternate account and just dropping this one, or just leaving Second Life altogether, something I've greatly come to enjoy and rely on over the past several years.

Adding more pictures of it and the temporary "clean" states.

Kossuth, please note System Requirements

Your computer must meet these REQUIREMENTS, or you may not be able to successfully participate in Second Life.

There are suggestions to try in these articles, in Knowledge Base How can I improve performance ? and How do I check for packet loss (network lag)? Please also see this article for suggestions for Turning off WindLight rendering

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

If you're using wireless networking, you should try troubleshooting with a direct wired connection; we allow, but do not support the use of wireless network connections.

This article will show you how to get detailed information about the performance of your computer and the Second Life world Statistics Bar Guide

I understand your point regarding not matching technical specifications - however, as you can see from my profile, I'm not a newcomer to second life. I've been playing on this same computer for several years - only in the past several weeks has the issue arisen. I have checked over my computer and confirmed there have been no other changes or updates during that time, and it has coincided around the time of the previous release of the official second life viewer, so I believe bears consideration. I do realize that Linden Labs are vastly overworked and flooded with requests of "glitches", but this is severe to the point that I cannot continue to play SL in this state. If it persists, I'm going to have to depart SL, being unable to make any more purchases or buy Linden dollars.

Kossuth, re "with Dual-screen setup" Please try the suggestions in these articles in Knowledge Base, My avatar is all black! and Why do I look like a particle cloud? (Formerly known as: I've suddenly and unexpectedly turned into an ugly woman.)
