Dear Sirs:
The Standard SL Viewer does not have this issue . for some reason your display does (and so do others such as SnowGlobe).

When I stand or move by dark colors, the graphics explodes with random triangles and 2 dimensional lines/shapes. Seems to happen more frequently when moving. Sometimes the shapes come and go - sometimes they stay (per attachment).

For your benefit, I have attached a picture. The brown plane at a 45 degree angle is an example of the random explosion of 2D shapes. I really would like to use your product - but cannot. The only one that seems to work for me is the standard SL viewer.

I am hoping you can solve the issue in the next release.

Cindy, re Snowglobe Viewer, please see Turning off WindLight rendering.

2. If you still see glitches, try to disable 'Vertex Buffer Objects' (VBO)

An extra step that can help (in some cases) is to turn off VBO. This is done in the Hardware Options of your Graphics preferences, because this is a setting on your graphics card.

Here's how

1. Run Second Life from your desktop. You don't have to log in.
2. Open Edit menu > Preferences...
3. Click on the Graphics tab.
4. Click on the button for Hardware Options. Now, look for the fourth option, Enable VBO: Set this to be UNchecked. This means it is turned off.

Please add your comments and vote to the main issue VWR-3258.

For issues with a 3rd party Viewer please contact them directly.

Thank you : )
