I crash when loading SL on my laptop. The crash happens when "loading world". I have tried both wired and wireless connections. My graphics card driver is the very latest from Dell's web site.

I have zipped up the crash logs & dump file.

Lady, please see this article in Second Life Knowledge Base When I log into Second Life, it gets to Precaching or Initializing World, then it crashes.

This means that Second Life is failing when it asks your graphics card to begin drawing the Second Life world. This is almost always due to a graphics card that isn't compatible with Second Life. This article about graphics cards discusses how to tell what kind of graphics card you have, provides a list of graphics cards that are compatible.

1. Verify that your graphics card is compatible, see System Requirements
2. If your card is compatible, try updating its drivers.
