I've seen this crash the viewer twice this morning doing the following

1. Login to viewer and start out at NCI Help Island
2. Fly around the island for about a minute
3. The avatar will stop following my movement commands
4. Then shortly after, the viewer will crash

Attached is the screenshot of the crash.

TT, please see these articles in Knowledge Base How can I improve performance ? and How do I check for packet loss (network lag)? Please also see this article for suggestions for Turning off WindLight rendering

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.
ATI have recently released 8/17/2009 Catalyst 9.8 OpenGL Version: 2.1.8870
