 Description  « Hide
I log into Second Life, and as soon as I'm in there and just turn the camera slightly, the graphical glitch appears.

It consists of gigantic spikes 'growing' out of every avatar on the screen, so I do not see anything besides that glitch. Sometimes it drops my framerate greatly which just gives me one option to do; close Second Life.
Screenshots of the graphical glitch are attached.

Duplicate of VWR-3258.

A workaround for this is Edit>Preferences>Graphics tab >Hardware Options> uncheck Enable VBO

LL is working with ATI to come up with a solution to this.

A couple of weeks ago, ATI sent us some of their internal capturing software and I was able to capture the triangle glitch bug on my 4850 and send it to them. They are on it, and believe it to be due to some optimizations they made and are working on it. I'll let you all know more when I know more and when they release a fix or give us a workaround.
