The game says there is lag and it not even going over 10 frames. However, on intel's site they say second life is one of the games on the list the 4500 can play with out an issue. http://support.intel.com/support/gra.../CS-029450.htm Second life is on low setting. I have tried both Windows Vista and 7 drivers, nothing. I also installed directx 11, but still not sure what to do here. Now what? How can I get this fixed? I understand there are some issues with Intel cpus but intel's site this cpu should be cool. Also I did a search but I was not able to find info about intel 4 series gpu on this site. Thanks.

Alisandra, please see these articles in Knowledge Base How can I improve performance ? and How do I check for packet loss (network lag)? Please also see this article for suggestions for Turning off WindLight rendering

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card.

If you're using wireless networking, you should try troubleshooting with a direct wired connection; we allow, but do not support the use of wireless network connections.

This article will show you how to get detailed information about the performance of your computer and the Second Life world Statistics Bar Guide

Please note the Windows 7 OS and the Intel 4500 Graphics card have not been fully tested for Second Life, please see System Requirements and Typical Frame Rate Performance by Graphics Card/GPU

Well I have tried both the latest Vista and Windows 7 drivers and no improvements. I am on a 1.4ghz core2duo, new model, which should be cool cause I have seen people running the game on their netbooks. Maybe I should upgrade to 3gb of ram? I use the lag meter all the time and that is how I noticed a solution must be found. Everything is green except for graphics, which is red and sometimes yellow, and this on the lowest of the low setting I can get it at. I don't expect anything to good but is 20fps second on medium/medium-low to hard to ask for? Thank you.
