I dont know whats been happening, but every once in awhile, sl will freeze up and go nonresponsive, and after watching with task manager, I noticed that corresponded with a crash in all of my cpu's usage, they would flatline for a few moments. I would click around randomly, and sometimes it would unfreeze, but most times, it would crash and bring up the crashlogger, which if I reported would go nonresponsive as well. I noticed after awhile that opening another program woul kick sl in the butt so to speak, and get the processors running again, but it would happen more and more freqeuently....

Really just want to know if its conflicting software, or if my hardware is failing. IN which case the company that built my computer last month isnt going to be happy with me.

Sonata, please check this issue also happens with the Official Viewer Second Life 1.23.4 (123908) Jun 11 2009 15:16:56 (Second Life Release) .

Please check you have the latest graphics drivers by either going to your manufacturer's site or by checking in Knowledge Base How do I get the latest drivers for my graphics card? Nvidia have recently released Version: 186.18 Release Date: June 18, 2009

This maybe related to issue VWR-5574. Please see the Description

Key to this bug is a setting in the NVIDIA controlpanel (3D settings): "Threaded optimization".

If you suffer from this bug, add your SL viewer to the list in the "Program settings" tab, and turn it off.
Don't change the global setting, or other programs will suffer.

Please also add your comments and vote to VWR-7964 "Add SLI and Crossfire support"

Thank you : )
