repro:
1. Create a new object on the ground
2. Edit the object and put a (no copy) item inside (use a no copy item you wouldn't mind losing).
3. Right click on the object, click More, Attach and select the left hand.
4. Right click on the object and detach it.
Notice the object appears outside the normal inventory. Upon relogging, the object will disappear.
