If you TP to a non-laggy sim, do they load? Is it a matter of loading time or are they not loading at all?

They don't load at all. I am in a non laggy sim. Sim is class 5 private island. no one here but me. I didn't see this problem with 123.2. I have experimented with taking different shoes on and off. any shoes i put on that have an alpha appear similar to the photos.

I have been experimenting on this. I don't think it is an alpha problem. If i pull my cam back (zoom out) a far distance i will see the black boxes disappear. When I zoom back in the shoes appear correctly for aproximately 5 seconds then the black box like in photo # 2 reappears. I changed debug setting, rendervolumeLODFactor from defaut to 8 doing the same zoom in zoom out routine, didn't seem to affect any thing. see photos.

It looks like the invisiprims are rendered as solid black.
If zooming in and out is a factor, it could be a reincarnation of VWR-12987, VWR-13038, VWR-13097, and VWR-13471.
(The old invisiprim-script changes texture every minute, or so)

I did not see this problem myself yet.

Think more info is in order.

1. does this happen to just these shoes? Or does it happen to ALL shoes?
2. If you created these shoes, did you place the invisible prims correctly? Try to change them and perhaps you will see a difference.
3. Did you try in multiple sims? Some how you could get a different result in another sim (strange but true)

we shall see if .4 fixed this.

to Yuri.
1. all shoes
2. no, I didn't make them. the shoes shown in one photo are Stiletto Moody's. Boots are Kittie's Lair
3. yes I did photo 1,4,5, 6 is in my home sim. photos 2 and 3 at ACS island.
4. I photograph fashion shows. several a week. I have seen this on many "makes" of shoes in multiple sims.

Who changed this issue to "resolved". I am still seeing this problem withe 123.4. It is not a consistent problem, but I still observe this problem occasionally. I haven't been able to determine common conditions as I have seen it in laggy and non laggy conditions.

see comment above on resolution change.
