XP and intel 915 chipset is it not the users choice as to whether an outdated graphics card is used ? surely it is the users choice ? I dont use all the features as i find this unnecessary so if i want to use an old card then it is my choice. I may crash but then it is my choice and i have never complained about the crash issues. I can login to SL on a geforce 440MX card which is a lot more outdated than intel chipset so im confused, I know the issue is closed but surely it is the end users choice ? I am fully aware that i will have limitations but i am prepared to accept those limitations

Should be able to run by adding the parameter --noprobe to the shortcut command line.
