Only in the release client do I get this issue. The text on all menus, while typing text, and in PMs have waves cutting through the bottom. Up to the bottom half of some letters are missing and down to the full letter. As of the newest update it no longer effects text that has just been spoken in local chat, nor the top or bottom toolbars. It does still effect all chat windows, including recent chat, and the preference menu and profiles.

3 observations, after looking at the screenshot:
1 - it is the classic theme, not the silver theme (in ~~VWR-13076~~, Harleen Gretzky seems to imply that the issue only concerns the silver theme)
2 - observe the way the characters are "eaten", here and how irregular it is (actually not all characters are eaten). This really differs to the issue I am observing in my case (and which I suspect is the same as the opener of ~~VWR-13076~~ had). In my case, all the characters are uniformily eaten/faded out. I will post a screenshot as soon as I am able to.
3 - the screenie here describes something really similar to the screenies 3, 4 and 5 in VWR-13490, whereas what I see rather looks like the screenie number 2 of the same ticket.

So I believe there really is 2 different issues here. But I don't know what are the 2 tickets that should be kept and which should be closed as duplicates.

Rygaron, please check you have the latest graphics drivers by either going to your manufacturer's site or by checking in Knowledge Base How do I get the latest drivers for my graphics card? ATI have recently released 5/15/2009 Catalyst 9.5 OpenGL 2.1.8664
