removed libopenal.so.1 bundled with binary viewer (i've my libopenal from debian etch repository)

:~/sl_rc/SecondLife-i686-1.23.2.120258$ mv lib/libopenal.so.1 ../

and now....

I have seen exactly this error on Ubuntu 9.04 if I have RhythmBox running (the audio player). Stopping RhythmBox eliminates the error initializing audio, and then I get sound effects. Perhaps SL is trying to get exclusive use of the audio device??

Streaming still does not work though.

If I un-comment the LL_BAD_OPENAL_DRIVER, forcing it to use FMOD on the 1.22.11 viewer, music streaming works. But with the RC 1.23.2 viewer, with or without that edit, music streaming does NOT work.
