1. Built an object using Normal & Sculpted Prim's (33 Prim's). The Objects where Textured with the highest resolution available for sculpted prim's in the RC Viewer.
BUG OBSERVED. After studying the object for a while, some of the Sculpted Prim's started Disappearing & Reappearing Randomly.
What I expected was... for them NOT to disappear?

Soulvex, please check for an update to your Windows OS [XP SP3] as recommended by Nvidia and to your Graphics Card drivers How do I get the latest drivers for my graphics card? The latest from Nvidia are Version: 182.50 Release Date: April 02, 2009

Please add a further comment if you still have this issue.

I re-opened this issue because I am seeing the same problem running the 1.23.4 (123523) Release Candidate viewer (only) on the RC for Windows7 64bit, with the latest Nvidia Drivers installed for my 8800GTS.

The more scultpies I place, the more pronounced the problem seems to be. I did notice that if I set RenderVolumeLODFactor to ZERO, all sculpts immediately appear - though at the expectedly reduced LOD. Even setting this debug setting to 1 reintroduces the visual bug.

Running Full Screen or in a Window nets the same result.

EDIT:
I originally thought the live viewer was less susceptable to this, but I now believe it was actually the RenderVolumeLODFactor that made the difference. When I logged into the Live viewer, that setting was still at the default of 2. Upon turning it up to 10, the problem manifested just as fully as inthe RC viewer.

@Galathir - What you are describing is VWR-13868, please comment and vote on that issue. Currently the RC and live viewer are the same thing.

Thanks
