Please add the ability to view ONLY adult content, ONLY mature content, and Adult and Mature content. so we can view our rp, sims, the clubs, events, stores, roleplays, malls and other parcels that have only the content we want, and not have to feel forced to view "Disneyland" type content the way the Lindens want.
There are really allot of good reasons such a feature would be useful, some of which are marked in the comments section.

[ Personally, I think this is the stupidest idea I have heard in a year.
When I use Google, I get the option to turn "Safe Search" on, or off. By disabling safe-search, I am telling the search engine "please do not filter my results". Google weights returned results by a calculation to determine relevance.
Searching for "Cheesecake" with safesearch disabled, DOESN'T return an overwhelming torrential downpour of cheesecake pornography.
In SL, I want my search results unfiltered. I don't want to think about whether I should be searching for adult or pg when I type in "bed" or "furniture". I want an option that returns ALL results, with some kind of weighting according to relevance, popularity, traffic, teleports, or whatever metric SL prefers to use.
I will choose "unfiltered" every time, because I will oscilate between adult and non-adult interests at the drop of a hat. I think that most people will also choose "show unfiltered results". That is the only way that businesses, forced to relocate to adult land, will survive.
The idea of shuttering out pg results, when adult search is enabled.. means that a person must CHOOSE a search to do. Meaning that the lazy will leave it on whichever gets them the most results for most things. How many adult "hair" stores do you expect there to be? how many adult "pet shops".. how many adult "landscaping" adult "houses"...
I want "filter out adult content: yes/no" and nothing more. Because anything else will destroy the ability for businesses with mixed content to survive.

[ I have an offer for Linden Lab. I can file an injunction and prevent the release of 1.23 until this is made and the viltering of store advertisements is ripped out, or you can volunteerly fix it. An injunction would indefinately slow things down, cost LL time, money, and cause lots of bad publicity. Voluntarily making these changes would earn you good will of your customers and keep you out of courts.
Choice is yours LL.

[ I believe it might cause trouble too,Because i always present myself as a furry,and i read that most people consider Furries to be adult content or a Fetish and that means i can't be in any sims that are PG.
]
