1. I was doing routine updates to my system drivers including my video card and sound card.
2. After installing ATi Catalyst version 9.3 drivers for my video card, I re-downloaded and installed Second Life
BUG OBSERVED: After updating and installing Second Life, I found I could not launch the program.
3. I downloaded and installed the current release candidate viewer
BUG OBSERVED: The viewer started normally, but upon trying to log in, the viewer crashed again.
NOTES:
- Prior to this problem, I have not had an issue starting or logging in to Second Life (unless it was the type of issue that everyone was having, or warranted an immediate patch)
- Since the first problem I have been able to start both viewers with varying success but have NOT been able to fully log in without crash. The point at which the viewer crashes seems to be a random point between initial start up, and log in.
- On attempted log in, the 'previous position' screenshot is glitchy.
-I have tried clearing cache and clearing all application data, I have also tried doing a clean install, neither of these have worked.
