I noticed to that my av's shoulder blades are big, bumpy and ugly too. Can't seem to fix using appearance changes either.
Can you attach a snapshot?
Also copy and paste your Help->Second Life information as a comment. More of ugly bumpy shoulder blades

A lot of us are still using Windows 2000.
OK so I started 2nd life on XP with exactly the same results. Checked in a couple of regions with the same result. I'll tried the attachment / skins / shape suggestion using both my av and an alt. Same result. The shoulder blades are still jutting out the back. Here is the info under XP. Second Life 1.22.11 (113941) Mar 6 2009 12:50:02 (Second Life Release) You are at 253245.0, 271621.0, 21.2 in sunbelt software located at sim5336.agni.lindenlab.com (216.82.49.83:13000) CPU: Intel Pentium 4 (Unknown model) (2526 MHz) libcurl Version: libcurl/7.16.4 OpenSSL/0.9.7c zlib/1.2.3 Under XP. Different av. Different skins and shape. No attachments, huds or clothes. Same jutting shoulder blades.
Dina, please try the latest Viewer Second Life 1.23.4 (123908) Jun 11 2009 15:16:56 (Second Life Release) which can be downloaded from here http://secondlife.com/support/downloads.php
Before you log into Second Life please Clear the Cache from Outside Second Life Log into Second Life and let your Inventory fully load. Please check you have the latest graphics drivers by either going to your manufacturer's site or by checking in Knowledge Base How do I get the latest drivers for my graphics card? Ok done everything. 2 different computers. Different op sys. Different avs. All upgrades etc. Cleared cache. Different skins and shapes. Absolutely no change. The shoulder blades are still jutting and ugly.
