While I can see every graphical of Second Life (with Lag of course) I can't seem to see sculpted objects all that well. Whenever someone has them on their avatar, or anywhere in general, instead of seeing the mapped sculpted object, I see a sphere. Is there some kind of fix I can download for this? i've tried the standard Veiwer and the Canidate Veiwer. Neither see sculpts properly. I was told to increase my network speed, but everything on SL runs rather smooth, I don't see why that would be the problems. Is there a fix or something I can download for this?

Example, I had a friend rez and snapshot a sculpted prim. It came out looking just fine

Though I snapshoted what I saw, which looks like a round prim.

Tokala, thank you for reporting this. Please see the main issue VWR-3798 and add your full computer environment, Help > About Second Life, including the Viewer you are using and the Region where you have this issue and vote.

Thank you : )

Changed resolution

Based on the copy of the hardware environment you provided you are using Vista drivers on an XP system.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Series Processor (1662 MHz)
Memory: 2039 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 (Build 2600)
Graphics Card Vendor: Intel
Graphics Card: Intel 965/963 Graphics Media Accelerator
OpenGL Version: 2.0.0 - Build 7.15.10.5029

The "7" in the Build version above identifies this problem.

No luck, that didn't effect it at all, unfortunately >w<

I'll just update my graphics card, though I would have much preferred a fix xD

Thanks for trying folks :3

I'm reopening this as this isn't an isolated case. ANY computer using a video card based on the Intel 965 chipset (e.g. most laptops) exhibits this bug. Sculpted prims simply DO NOT load the sculpted texture.

@Felis, please provide your environment.

Moved VWR-3798 to the "related" section, as it's not clear that this is the same issue, just that the effect is similar.

Also, someone needs to re-open this issue. There's MORE than enough information now.
