Previous to 1.22.11, texture priority was given by via picklist. New system changes to a raycast. Unfortunately, the texture downloads takes forever problem is still present, but now I can't even manually prioritize the textures close to me. I have been standing in a room for almost an hour and several of the textures have not loaded yet, although things further way have, and I have no way to cause them to load.
I have tried the following to get them to load:
1. move the network bandwidth slider back and forth.
2. Turn off rendering of all types of things and then turning them back on one by one.
3. Setting the graphics quality to "Low"
4. Changing the view distance
