 Description  « Hide
I got the new viewer today, and downloaded and instaled new drivers for the vid card. Loged in and after a few minutes all was good i was actually supprised to see a much more details SL. about 30 minutes into it i was crossing a sim and i turned multi colored, about 20 seconds later im completely black. Came herr seen this was a old problem but effected nividia ... i dont use that i have ATI. So i Loged in a alt and all is good nothing happened even after multiple sim crossings trying to reproduce this. However i am still all black with the main AVI. I have tried removing all clothes and skin and everthing on me, rebaked, cleared the cache, but wouldnt this affect all my avi's on this machine not just this one? So now i move to a completely diferent PC and im still all balck. This has no problem with the alts. It is only happening to this one AVI. I would like to add here this has not one thing to do with drivers for the video card, as this is happening on two seperate machines that are not even remotely close to each other in performance. Also out of 6 AVI's now that i have loged in this is the only one its happening to. I did see another AVI do the same thing in front of me but she went back to normal after about 10 minutes time, and did nothing to make herself normal other then just standing there. Me however am still all black after quite a few hours of trying to not be. I have also now seen that my log in screen is black, and while i am loading that screen is black and white and this is on both machines one with updated drivers and one with out. But both have the new viewer installed.

Ok im not even going to try to understand how this worked, since i was seeing this on multiple PCs and it was only happening to one AVI. But sure enough I did not have the primary screen set to where SL was on on my multi monitor setup. I switched it, log out, come back and bake ....poof there i am. Ellla you are one smart cookie, wish the search feature in the knowlege bas was half as smart. Thank you!!!
