1. I logged into second life, and was in my tower, when my friend said he wanted to show me his avatar and I TPed him to me. 2. He did not load, so I logged out and in again. I noticed that his avi was still not loading, and not only that, but textures had dissappeared from some of my walls. 3. I restarted SL and got the same thing. I repeated this twice. Then, I noticed that the majority of my sculpts were not loading,as well as a couple other textures. So i tried something else, I went to another sim and came back, and then some of my sculpts loaded. I restarted SL again, and again, sculpts were missing. 4. I cleared my cache and restarted, and a couple more sculpts loaded, but a lot of them were missing as well as several normal textures. 5. I restarted my computer and logged in to find the same thing, things not loading. However, in addition to this, upon logging in I got repeated messages saying "Failed to find clothing in database." not only that, but it said "Failed to load XYZ gesture." For most of my gesture. I also got "Failed to find body part in database." In the chat window, it said "Replaced missing clothing/body part with default." However, my avatar is still a white cloud and does not load. After restarting and clearing the cache, I am at a loss of what to do. I have not re-installed yet, as I don't know if this problem is on my end. I hope you know, this is incredibly bizarre. I hope you can help me, I would appreciate it greatly. I have included two screenshots showing what is going on. Expected Behavior: I expected my textures and avatar to load. EDIT: I teleported one of my friends to me. I'm still having these issues. Their textures did not load for me, and they said that they weren't seeing my sculpts and many of my textures, nor my shape. After a little bit they said that it looked like I had taken off half my attachments and worn a basic human shape but the textures and things were not loading still. But on my screen I was still a nebulous glowing blob. EDIT: 3 PM EST 2/23/09 Logged onto a friend's account, with same results as shown in ScreenShot426.jpg. Am considering re-installing, but am waiting to hear something. EDIT: 4:22 PM EST 2/23/09 Logged onto my account on another computer. The majority of my sculpts and textures load if I am on this computer. I have pasted the info on this computer under ALTERNATE COMPUTER in the "environment" field. However, as ScreenShot001.jpg and ScreenShot002.jpg show, some textures are not loading or loading blurry (though it might be because this computer isn't as good, doubt it however); and no part of my avatar is loading. EDIT: 10:00 PM EST 2/23/09 Talked to a couple other people who had been in my plaza, they said it looked normal to them. EDIT: 10:17 PM EST 2/23/09 Attempted to reinstall. No dice. Textures, gestures, and avatar parts still not loading.
