1, I opened my inventory and dropped an item on the ground
2. then attatched it from there and fixed its position
3. afterwards I detatched the item thinking it would end up back in the inventory but instead lost it

the item I lost was a Silver Choker called "Silver Kiss Choker" made by Darien Caldwell

Could I have a directory repair or an inventory restart to fix the problem please, thank you very much

none of those solutions work because the loss was caused by a bug, specifically because I attatched an item that was ont he ground, is it possible for you to retrieve the item for me?

No, it's not. This is different from SVC-2956

In this case, an item attached from the ground did not get a folder assigned. This is an existing bug in SL that causes Inventory loss. It's right that support can restore your items that are not in folders, but LL should work on preventing the issue where items worn from ground do not appear in inventory at all.
