 Description  « Hide
When my BF changes his shirt his face turns white and doesn't respond to texture rebaking. We tried new skins and no matter what he does, the head turns white and stays that way. Searhed the data base, but can't find anything else like this. Another friend is experiencing something similar where his hands tunr black when he puts a certain black shirt on. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Dragonlady, if the Graphics card drivers have recently updated to a version from the Nvidia 177 series or later, please see the JIRA Home page

COMMON ISSUES

Problems with your clothing layers? Do your pants flair at the bottom or do you look like your wearing shoes when you aren't? Please look at VWR-7957 and VWR-9358

The following workaround has been reported:

  • Enable the Advanced Menu (Ctrl-Alt-D)
  • Disable rendering of Palletized Textures (Ctrl-Alt-F7)
  • Rebake (Ctrl-Alt-R)

Please note: It may take a little bit for the server to refresh your baked textures if there are lots of avatars around or the region is laggy. Future versions of the viewer will have this fixed and not require these steps every time you log in.

This issue is fixed in the latest RC 1.22 which can be downloaded from here Release Candidate Test Viewers

Thank you : )
