This is an annoying little bug for a lot of users. Problems with rendering skins or clothing often renders avatars all black/red/white or partially so. The only fix that I'm aware of is to turn Palletized Textures off in the Advanced/Rendering/Features menu. While this is all well and good, and actually works, it's very annoying to have to unselect this option every time I log back in. I'd like the Viewer to remember that I've unselected it from login to login.

This option has been removed from the viewer in version 1.22.

Oryx, as Harleen comments, the option to turn Palletized textures on/off has been removed from the latest RC 1.22, but you may like to add a comment and vote on Keeping Advanced > Rendering > Types and Features permanent VWR-7937

Yes, thanks for this report.

The request on this issue is essentially equal to the request of VWR-7937. Therefore, I am closing this bug as a duplicate of the other. Please add your vote and track it with us at VWR-7937.

Also, as mentioned, the specific Advanced menu option of "Palletized Textures" has been completely removed in the 1.22 viewer. The bug in 1.20 that you use this for, has been solved in the 1.22 viewer as soon as it becomes official.
