I see that happening. Only that the meter keeps appearing just to be replaced by please wait really fast.

Resolving as fixed since this appears to be fixed, if this still is an issue comment and reopen.

Hi, I am using version 1.22.11. I am having this issue. Anyone know how can I solve it? Previously, I was using 1.21 and I have no problem with it. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

RC Paderborn added a comment - 21/Oct/09 04:19 PM
As of 2009/10/21 and version 1.23.5 this issue still exists.

OS X 10.5.8. Voice Chat Device Settings will not let me select anything but default for input and output devices and Input level gives only the Please Wait and slider. Voice doesn't work for sending or receiving.

RC Paderborn added a comment - 21/Oct/09 04:20 PM
This still has not been fixed as of 1.23.5 at least on Mac OS X 10.5.8.

RC, please see this Knowledge Base article Voice FAQ

On a Mac:

1. Go to Apple menu > System Preferences and click Sound.
2. For Output, select the desired device to hear the audio through and make any changes to volume.
3. For Input, select the desired device to speak into and adjust the volume.

If you then select Default input & output devices in Second Life Preferences, does voice work ?

Please add your comments and vote on issue VWR-2925 Mac voice input selection ignored in OS X Leopard, keeps switching back to "default"

For technical and/or Account specific issues please Submit a Ticket with Support as per JIRA Home page

Thank you : )
