I recently upgraded the graphics card on my computer to keep up with some of the environmental upgrades in SL. I had an older 256mb Radeon card that worked ok but was starting to lag. I went to an Nvidia EN8600GT and noticed an immediate inprovement in things such as water, weather and scripts and was very happy-for a time. Shortly after upgrading I noticed alot of my clothing wasn't working properly. Any jacket I put on would cover me from neck down to my toes. Any boots would texture all the way up to my neck and long shirts act as gloves. Most pants don't fill in right anymore. Any pants that are supposed to work as a skirt base go all the way down and cover my toes. As well some of skins cover me completely in a flat black except for the face. A friend of mine with an Nvidia 8800 GTS is having the exact same issues. I have tried getting all the upgrades to my card and SL that I can. I have played with all my card settings but no change. I have removed SL and the card drivers from my CPU and reloaded them and no dice. I operate a clothing business in SL so this not being able to see what I am wearing is getting very frustrating and is severly affecting my and my friends time on SL. It only started once I installed the Nvidia card. I think this will become a more common problem for some users as they upgrade their cards and choose Nvidia ones. I don't want to have to buy a different card because for everything else SL runs awesome. PLEASE HELP!!!
Sincerly,
