This version of the PN has a noticeable spike in crash rates that occur while panning or zooming with the alt key held down.

Conversation in the Battle Street Irregulars and others with similar crash rates provoked this jira.

I've noticed this too. and then furthermore even if you pan successfully if you hit escape to return to the regualr view it crashes.... makes building, choosing outfits, and roleplaying hard.

I am crashing too when i zoom with alt. It can be very annoing and makes role play impossible.

Sounds like it might be related...rapid camera movement seems to exacerbate this, especially in multicore machines. VWR-8841 now has a pretty reliable repro

Hey guys, we are working on this issue. As a temporary measure, goto "preferences -> graphics tab -> hardware options" to set the texture memory to be 256MB if the current number is above that. Try it to see if it helps.
