Computer is running under Linux Mint, version 6 (Felicia), built off of Ubuntu Intrepid, same problem appeared in version 5 (Elyssa), don't remember what kernel that was though. Computer itself is a Gateway CX2724 Tablet PC.
lspci output in regards to video card shows:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME, 943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)
Problem did not show up on this computer when I had been running Windows XP, just after I converted to Linux.
SL will load, but has some graphic glitches (menu bar flickering, some buttons not showing or showing odd graphics). After logging in, sim will start to rez, but 5-30 seconds afterwards, the computer locks. Mouse still moves, but keyboard and mouse clicks are unresponsive. Only resolution is to hard reset the computer.
I'm attaching a few screen shots showing the graphic issues. Any logs that I can try to get i'll be happy to, just let me know what logs are needed
