ok, it used to work, but anyway on the latest sl, deleted it and reloaded, T9300 core 2 duo, nvidia with latest drivers, 2 gig ram, asus m51sn Vista Ultimate

ok, in active speakers, I appear as a blank for my name , but I am not muted. In groups, my name does not appear, even though I am the owner of land - it shows as Owner, but the name part is just blank.

In other groups, my residents name is also blank. I appear as I am there, just the name is blank. Have asked lots of people but the best they can come up with is that I am muted ( I am not)

they also suggested that maybe i have doen a setting somewhere nut ho-one know s which one or is it a bug?

Does anyone know what it could be? or what I can do?

hey, I read the otehr posts just now, and it didnt resolve anything so if you are a mod and want to move it to another thread, then post that in this thread ok, dont just day resolved, and close the thread ! please?

this is not the same as payment posts on other threads so please reopen and start looking for a resolution - by the waym, the other post doesnt have a resolution either - and mine isnt to do with payments at all.

Hello Mart, it is the same problem. See the comments at SVC-3441. Because SVC-3441 is under Linden Labs attention, my advise is to add your comments to that issue as well.

Please see Prospero Linden - 14/Dec/08 05:34 AM comment on ~~MISC-1890~~ 'New Resident's name shows as a blank on the land purchase as well as my friend's list.'

NOTE - please don't comment here, but on SVC-3441 instead
