All my pants have the error shown in the picture, weird purplish polygon lines, sometimes they show up on my hands and feet, i've changed clothes, shapes, cleared cache, reinstalled SL and nothing i do seems to work, friends have tried too, i keep thinking it's a driver problem but my friend says no, if it is then let me know

as suggested there:
Try disabling (uncheck) Advanced->Rendering->Features->"Palettized Textures" in the advanced menu (ctrl + alt + 'D') and rebake your avatar (Ctrl + Alt + 'R'). You may need to re-wear your clothing that is misbehaving and rebake yet again if at first try it doesn't solve the issue.
