all of my clothings is getting messed up! the graphics go into the avatars skin, like at the feet or ankles when wearing pants, and when wearing shirts the sleeves go all the way down into the hands like wearing a body suit or gloves when im not. other people are experiencing this also. so its not a editing thing. i have clothing from the past that is totally messed up, and clothing that i just recently purchased for gifts as well that are having this problem on people, my skirts go into the leg (the texture is like..stamped on the leg or ankle), then, now last night i was wearing a pair of pants that were fine, now when i logged into sl , the bottom of the pant legs have purple and like rainbow sock at the feet!? so then i go and change ito some black pants, and THEY are messed up as well at the feet! ;( i will send a pic of it. please help!!!!! can this be fixed? what about all my clothes i have in my inventory that i bought?!?! alot of L$ down the drain? ;(

It looks likely that you have an NVIDIA graphics card with version 177 or 178 drivers.

There are known avatar rendering issues for these driver versions:

The following workaround has been reported:

  • Enable the Advanced Menu (Ctrl-Alt-D)
  • Disable rendering of Palletized Textures (Ctrl-Alt-F7, or Advanced/Rendering/Features/Palletized Textures)
  • Rebake (Ctrl-Alt-R)

You can also revert to NVIDIA 175.19 drivers to see if this resolves your issue.
