it has been nothing but a major pain since this has taken over my clothing. i have worked hard in sl, and with rl dollars to make who i am. it is a major interuption of my rl, and sl, over, and over everyday. when i try to put shoes on, if i put on most shoe bases it will create a total covering from my waist to my toes. if i try some glitch pants, it happens that way too. some jackets, or underclothes will cover me from my neck to my waist to my, fingertips.

It looks likely that you have an NVIDIA graphics card with version 177 or 178 drivers.

There are known avatar rendering issues for these driver versions:

The following workaround has been reported:

  • Enable the Advanced Menu (Ctrl-Alt-D)
  • Disable rendering of Palletized Textures (Ctrl-Alt-F7, or Advanced/Rendering/Features/Palletized Textures)
  • Rebake (Ctrl-Alt-R)

You can also revert to NVIDIA 175.19 drivers to see if this resolves your issue.
