Step 1: Spend 8 hours creating something (in my case a melee weapon). Step 2: Attach the objects to the attachement points on the avatar. Step 3: Search for the attached objects in inventory. Now, when i search i only get one of the objects in my inventory (the weapon that attaches to the hand), the object is listed under the Library folder (but not in a folder "inventory black hole?"). No sign of the other object (The Sheath part of the weapon that attaches to the hip or wherever). So.. Step 4: Detatched the ONLY object left and Log out of Secondlife (hoping they would both be in my Objects Folder like they should be!). Step 5: Log into Secondlife only to realise you have no objects in your inventory with the name you called your objects. Step 6: cry for a while and curse you lindens... Can anyone tell me how i can get either my objects back and why does this happen all too often?
