When I wear shirts, they wrap around to my fingers so it looks as if I have gloves on but do not.

 Description  « Hide
When putting on clothing. The clothing distorts and becomes a shirt and glove. The seams then do not match up and the outfit is ruined. Also.. when I put on shoes the base of the shoe stretches all the way up the avatar, looking as if they are pants.

It looks likely that you have an NVIDIA graphics card with version 177 or 178 drivers.

There are known avatar rendering issues for these driver versions:

  • VWR-7957 (Clothing skinning error on nVidia)
  • VWR-9358 (Texture rendering problem Nvidia 178.13 release drivers)

The following workaround has been reported:

  • Enable the Advanced Menu (Ctrl-Alt-D)
  • Disable rendering of Palletized Textures (Ctrl-Alt-F7, or Advanced/Rendering/Features/Palletized Textures)
  • Rebake (Ctrl-Alt-R)

You can also revert to NVIDIA 175.19 drivers to see if this resolves your issue.

I'm marking this issue as a duplicate.

Please look at VWR-7957 and VWR-9358 and add your comments/vote to whichever you feel more closely matches your issue.
If, you feel this is NOT the same as either of these issues, please re-open it using the link on the left, and add a comment explaining why.
