friend notification is erratic.

started behavior nov 7 pm. a friend comes online, im me we chat, then tp him.. it then shows he has gone offline,.. but he did not.. he im waiting for the tp then i try to tp again but cant bcause it said he was offline, cant see him in friends or calling card, can im him though.
behavior again with another friend.nov 8. same behavior shows friend going offline.
behavior again. this time reversed, as i am in front of a friend. he said it showed i went offline, but i was still there talking with him.

i did upgrade to the new version yesterday.. not sure if that is the reason.. all was fine before then.

another note, often the program crashs when starting up.. then i have to reboot my machine, even when it is a fresh reboot.
