 Description  « Hide
When I try to rez a Linden tree from the Library, I get logged out with the message

"The simulator you are currently in is going down."

I can log right back in, but rezzing a tree logs me out again. Repeated three times before filing this bug report.

The AV name being used was Ellie Stawberry.

I just tested this, and there was no problem. Then I looked closer, and saw that it was for the havok beta. Updated issue to make this clearer. If an issue is about the new havok, it should have Havok 4 in the title.

Actually... the best way to make sure we don't miss these is to chooose "Physics" for the component... Thanks! /Sidewinder

Rezzing a Linden tree, such as the eucalyptus, in a Havok4 sim, while the avatar is in an adjacent Havok1 sim, crashes the Havok4 sim.

See video.

Raised priority as it can crashing a sim.

Fixed with code change 72222: Added a bunch of error checking that helps keep the sim alive in case of some shape and volume failures, then made the failures go away by setting a default volume and cube shape for trees, grass or other objects that don't have any shape in LLTask::importFile(). Code reviewed by Kelly.
