Many text-only online worlds such as MUCKs have a "laston" command or similar that will show you the last time someone logged on and off. It would be nice to have an equivalent to this in SL, and it probably makes the most sense to put it in the profile.

Of course, it would be hidden under the same circumstances that someone's online status will, to comply with the new privacy features.

Good use of the Public Issue Tracker to mirror FVT (which is being phased out). I'd find this useful too, especially because there's a workaround presently: if you're able to view a group someone's in, you can see their last online date from the Members list.

Very good suggestion, I miss this from my mucking time

But I would like to suggest a small modification: make this available only to friends who can see your online status to prevent invasion of privacy.

This would be useful when you want to contact someone about objects encroaching on newly bought land. You can see if the lack of response to IMs is because they are offline.

Ill vote this intead to open another 'New Feature'
But id like to have the way to SORT MY FRIENDS, (form contacts tab)
based upon the last time thats seem online.
It may be useful to know if someone is no more between us.

This Would Help Me Some, Right Now I Use A Bot To Get This Info Which Takes A Bit Of Scripts, Might Be Nice If There Was Even A llGetLastOn(key id) Kind Of Function
