It is common to be griefed by a script in a group deeded object. In which case there is no obvious way to file an abuse report since the object has no owner and has normally teleported you home so you are nowhere near it.
This is a common problem with securty scripts when passing over land.

Oof, that sucks. I was about to come in here and comment that I didn't think it was fair to paint everyone in a group with the same brush, but you make a good point. I think SL internally stores the "last owner" for group-deeded objects, so that they can be returned to that person if they get autoreturned. This information could be included in the abuse report.

Filing reports about a group is not at all reasonable, but group-deeded objects definitely need to be able to be AR'd the same as others. I've edited your summary accordingly.

McCabe, your statement "Filing reports about a group is not at all reasonable" is completely and totally false. Some people have formed groups within SecondLife that exist for the purpose of griefing (which a friend of mine was targetted by). As well, there are groups that commit or promote acts forbidden in the TOS.
