 Description  « Hide
Despite hundreds of dollars of investment in SL inventory across several avatars I am about ready to quit altogether because of the extraordinarily aggravating lag. It isn't slow as molasses. It's slow as GRANITE!

I have thousands of dollars already invested in equipment. Don't tell me I have to buy ANYTHING ELSE just so I can use SL when everything else I have works fine.

I can run Photoshop, InDesign, two browsers, iPhoto, my email client, and a bunch of other software simultaneously.

I cannot run SL BY ITSELF without aggravation.

I have a DSL connection. Don't tell me I have to go to cable! I'm not going to fork over another $30 a month just to use SL when everything else works fine.

I have participated in SL since Nov. 2007. I HAVE NEVER IN ALL THIS TIME HAD THIS MUCH PROBLEM!

I do SL photography. Don't tell me I have to put my settings on the lowest (the only way I can move my avatar). Aside from making the photography impossible, the lowest settings MAKE SL F-UGLY.

The lag meter shows that the problem is more than likely the client. When I put my settings to the lowest, I can move.

BUT IT'S F-UGLY!

If you tell me I'm going to have to spend more money when I already have a computer better than the majority of home users you can kiss all my avatars goodbye.
