 Description  « Hide
Please make the Orientation Guide (a.k.a. OIHUD) available from the Inventory Library. Once there, it should always be updated to the newest version available (the one passed out to new Residents). This will have the following benefits:
  • Volunteers don't need to go to SL Volunteer Orientation Island to get a copy
  • Volunteers don't need to go to SL Volunteer OI to check for updates of the HUD
  • Volunteers don't have to keep a separate copy unused to pass out to Residents
  • Residents other than Volunteers and new subscribers can get it
  • this will be handy once Orientation Island Public is updated to the new Orientation Island type
  • New Residents who deleted their copy don't depend on a Volunteer being around. A Knowledge Base article could be set up to help them find it.
  • If one screwed up his/her copy or has to 'reset' it for a different version, one can always get a fresh one from the Library

This feature would make easier to workaround SVC-461 and MISC-357

Resolving as won't finish due to this OI being phased out. See: http://vteamblog.com/2008/08/01/hi-is-the-new-black-officially/

McCabe is correct, so I'm closing this issue now.
