Roland, please see this article in Knowledge Base How do I check for packet loss (network lag)?

If you're using wireless networking, you should try troubleshooting with a direct wired connection; we allow, but do not support the use of wirless network connections.

Please run the TraceRoute, when you have this issue, and Submit a Ticket with Support with the attached Text File for a response tailored to your individual situation see JIRA Home page This will help to identify the hop(s) on the route between your computer and the LL servers where there is an issue.

There are many 3rd party programmes available on the net to monitor latency issues; please contact your ISP for their help and advice.

This article will show you how to get detailed information about the performance of your computer and the Second Life world Statistics Bar Guide and can help identify if there is an issue with a particular Region(s).

Please note the issues reported on VWR-11874 re "Second Life Viewer 1.18 - 1.22 still slow and glitchy with ati catalyst drivers 7.12 - now 9.4 10-15 max fps"

Thank you : )
