Rather than or on top of having more attachment points an effective way to allow more attachment points would be to treat an attachment point as a list t hat could have more than one item attached at a time. A designation for each item could be given with attachment position, attachment number (1,2,3,...), object name such as ear 1, earphones to allow for easy identification.
