 Description  « Hide
For the last two hours, everytime I try to teleport either from the map or from a landmark, SL will tell me that I am now desconected from the region and that I am logged out. I have tried every option to teleport with no success. Also when I log back in, until I changed my log in location, I was logged into a location that I had not been to for quite some time.
I uninstalled the SL viewer and re-installed it with the same results. From what I understand, though my wife was not affected the same time I was, it eventually affected her too.

Terrioke, please try right-clicking on yourself and selecting Take Off > Detach All to remove your attachments. Then, try relogging. Scripted attachments have the ability to affect your avatar's movement.

Please try unplugging your modems and routers for a full minute, then plug them back in and log back into Second Life.

Please see this article in Knowledge Base I'm having navigation issues > I'm having trouble teleporting

Please check your network connection How do I check for packet loss (network lag)? and Unusually restrictive firewalls block teleporting

If you still have an issue, and see this Error Message, please add your comment and vote on the main issue, "You have been logged out of Second Life: You have been disconnected from the region you were in" SVC-3259

Please add, on SVC-3259, your

  • full computer environment Help > About Second Life
  • ISP and what kind of DSL/Cable modem you have
  • how you connect to the internet (wired/wireless)

For Region/Account-specific help please post a Ticket with Support
