Description

« Hide

Several No Copy, expensive items were put on ground to have notecards edited. Edit and wearing of objects successful. Objects had scripts inside reset and seemed to work properly. They were detached and never returned to inventory. Relogged with and without cache dump and they still have not reappeared.

Can you please say if you dropped the hud then wore from the ground (which is a known SL bug and would make this a duplicate)
or if you took the item into inventory and wore it from inventory (which you should do)

If it was the first you may need to wait for the Lindens to run their next asset server check, as they did about a month ago in which a pile of my "lost" huds reappeared.

It was not the hud that was worn. Items were taken from inventory put onto the ground and edited. Worn off of the ground then detached. The hud itself was always worn and never dropped on the ground. Nothing was dropped off the body.

How often are asset server checks ran?

Worn off the ground is a know problem descrived in VWR-6110 so i will mark this as duplicate.

There is also discussion of this at http://imakehuddles.com/wordpress/2008/04/19/if-you-lose-inventory-make-sure-you-get-support-from-linden-lab/ which states that in some cases Support can run a script that will recover HUDS lost to this wear from the ground issue.

I lost my EZ huddle after I put in on the ground at my house. I have checked everywhere and I can't find it
Please tell them to relpace.
