It will be usefull for the scripters to know on which kind of grid their scipts are running.

I suggest this command :

llGetGridInfo() : Return the grid name like "secondlife" or "Opensim"

I'm thinking:

llGetGridURL() - return the URL for grid. I'm using the URL because it should be a unique identifier for the grid.
llGetGridSoftwareName() - "opensim", "Second Life" or whatever. In which case we'll need a registry of names
llGetGridSoftwareVersion() - Human readable version of the software

Do we also want methods of fetching grid admin contact details, text about the grid, a URL for more information on the grid? Anything I've missed?

Also:

llMapDestination() - some variation that takes a URL, so that inter-grid teleports can be done?
llInstantMessage() - think about how this will interact with inter-grid IM?
llGiveMoney() - probably need to think about the impact of different currencies on different grids.
llGetGridPermissionsSupport() - or some other way of identifying what content permission restrictions are supported (copy, mod, transfer).

That's about everything I can think of.
