I realize this issue has not been commented on in over a month, but I stumbled upon it while looking for answers. Our region has had the traffic number stuck on 0 for a couple of days now.

Hehe I filed this bug report in May of 2008. It is now 5 days away from August of 2009. Well over 1 year and this has been a recurring issue. sighs

The "zero traffic bug" has happend repeatedly to me for the region I have my mainstore on (Monevole), and it has just happened again today, it seems to have become a recurring event about once a week or so and it's really getting annoying.

The "zero traffic days" usually are dead business days and I'm sick of taking the loss each time it happens. My usual traffic is moderate anyway (approx 1000-2500) and it's difficult to compete with all the countless traffic bot businesses as is (when will they start enforcing their policy about traffic bots, isn't it about time by now?), but if not even real, moderate traffic is shown I don't see the point in operating a costly inworld presence for much longer. This needs to be fixed or traffic must be turned off for all on days when it didn't calculate for all regions.

Only 4 days after the last zero traffic event for my region it has happened again today - does it now happen twice a week instead of approx. once a week like it has for quite some time now?

This really needs to be fixed once and for all, it is not acceptable that visibility for thouse affected will vanish from places search over and over and over and over and over and over.... Either fix it or disable traffic on thouse days for everyone, or at least offer some kind of compensation for the loss we have to take on thouse days. I know that things can and will go wrong, but my patience on this issue has grown very thin.

Harleen, unfortunately it's not always on the status pages when it happens. In addition it also showed zero in "about land" for me and not just places, which was not mentioned on the status pages either.

This has become a real problem because it seems to happen more and more often. Zero traffic days usually mean bad business not only on days when it happens, but also on days following the event - when parcels show zero traffic you hardly get any visitors because of it, so traffic usually will be bad for follow up days as well. I still have to pay the full amout of tier to LL though.

Something has been terribly wrong with traffic calculations lately or it wouldn't happen that often. Unless they find a way to fix it it would be the right thing to disable traffic for everyone.
