SVC-2129 Random inventory items permanently refuse to rez with no error message
Numerous objects in my inventory will not rez. When I drag them to the ground or onto a prim nothing happens, not even an error message. This happens with both copy and no-copy objects. With no-copy items, the object disappears briefly from the inventory and then reappears in inventory with the acquisition date updated to the present. The objects cannot be attached to the avatar either. I have passed several of these objects to an alt, and the alt is also unable to rez them. I have seen other reports of this problem in the forum recently, so I do not believe it is just me. I believe the problem can be reproduced reliably by passing unrezzable objects to another avatar for them to try to rez. Let me know if you want me to give you one of these objects to examine.
[edit] I should add that all of these objects are ones that I was previously able to rez with no problem, and I have not modified them in any way. The problem affects objects in many folders throughout my inventory.
