 Description  « Hide
llTeleportAgent is one of the most desired commands for Second Life, so I was shocked not to be able to find any reference or request for it.

llTeleportAgent is basically the same as llTeleportAgentHome, except that you get to specify the co-ordinates, including the Sim, of where an Avatar gets teleported to. This would allow instant transportation events between Sims or even in the same Sim for Stargates, Omni Tech Gateway System, Iconian Gateway, and other transport systems.

As I work in IT, I know security is a must. To stop Joe Griefer going into a Sim with their own device, as a pre-requisite I believe that the land owner should be allowed to do this, or objects which are deeded to a group, as such with the llTeleportAgentHome command, this could be accompanied by a PERMISSION_TELEPORT which could work like PERMISSION_DEBIT request it once.

This has been logged on the old vote system where it has received many votes: http://secondlife.com/vote/vote.php?get_id=3290

Comment [ On Linden Lab's Executive bathroom, there is a dot matrix printer, that is fed with the contents of the pjira mailing list. A flush is heard, and then the buzzing of the dots of ink being punched on the paper and the stepper motor moving the printing head and paper thru the process, the sound of paper being torn. Did the person in there picked up something important to read later? The sound of paper being crumbled is heard, then then a bit of rustling followed by another flush. A linden comes out of the bathroom, no paper in hand, the end of the toilet flush gurgle is heard as the springs pull the door closed again.
