I like the Holodeck and i think this is a high bug to be corrected
There's lots of different types of temporary rezors which are so prim efficient. I use more than one type and this issue would basically destroy my set up at home. Not to mention possible effects of the commercial types used in many places for shops displays and vendors. This is obviously an ASAP get bug fixed issue before Havok4 is fully introduced.
I think this could be related to SVC-141, where I recently commented on the differences between H1 and H4. Basically Im using a vehicle. Its not rezed around the avatar, but the avatar sits inside it. Under H1 it works fine, but under H4, when the avatar stands, it fails to eject them far enough to leave the vehicle. This has definitely changed since H4 was introduced. Restoring this functionality to how it was with H1 would be sufficient.
Actually I notice that I don't get thrown across the room anymore when standing up after sitting on certain items of furniture so perhaps there is a good side to Havok4 after all.
But to be honest it really is an appalling piece of software that blatanty isn't fit for purpose yet and should have been held back until it was ready. This needs to get fixed. It is a critical issue, not a trivial annoyance. Lindens- rezing technology is a basic common every day thing in SL - and not having it work without you clearing the area of avatars first is a terrible pain. This is a BUG - and a major one.
If something rezzes above the avatar's origin, but still in the avatar, example in the head, then the avatar will be pushed down through the floor (if you're not on terrain). And if you're working on a skybox, this can be disturbing. – Chris
Downgrading status to "normal" and switching type to "new feature" to reflect that this is not a bug in Havok 4 implementation. Additionally, removing irrelevant environment info. Suggest issue author review grammar and spelling.
